Product warranties are offered through MobileSoundWorks—not the product manufacturer. All warranty claims MUST go through MSW, and be approved with an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) Number prior to returning the item(s). Contact us at warranty@mobilesoundworks.com to request an RMA.

Depending on the manufacturer and the nature of the defect, the product may be repaired, replaced, or refunded at our discretion. Products which are damaged due to improper or inadequate packaging when returned (to us) will not be granted warranty coverage. There is no charge for repairing products covered under warranty—apart from shipping fees. Customers requesting warranty service are responsible for ALL shipping fees of serviced products (both to & from us).

MobileSoundWorks shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or removal and reinstallation charges associated with defective product. Please read the “Abuse, Misuse, and/or Installation” section for further details.

Abuse, Misuse, and/or Installation Error
MobileSoundWorks guarantees that most products we carry are covered against manufacturer defects for a year. However, neither MobileSoundWorks nor any product manufacturer will warranty products against abuse, misuse, and/or installation error.

MobileSoundWorks defines abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, non-PPI modifications, bent, chipped or broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates. Speakers submitted with any of the above will be considered out of warranty. MobileSoundWorks shall not be held liable for incidental loss of use, installation or removal and reinstallation charges associated with defective or returned product. Products that have been improperly installed may not be covered by this or any other warranty. We highly recommend having all car stereo equipment professionally installed.
